SpreadB ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SpreadB mobile application (the "App") available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information You Provide
When you register for an account or use our services, we may collect the following personal information:
- Account Information: Name (first name, last name), email address, password, phone number, and role selection (Brand or Influencer).
- Profile Information: Profile photo, bio/description, social media handles (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc.), follower counts, niche/category, and brand name (for brand accounts).
- Financial Information: Bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) for payment processing. Payment transactions are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway.
- Communication Data: Messages sent through in-app chat, support conversations, and AI-powered customer support interactions.
- Work Submissions: Files, images, videos, documents, and proof-of-work URLs submitted as part of campaign deliverables.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Data: App usage patterns, features accessed, pages viewed, and interaction data.
- Location Data: With your explicit permission, we may collect your device's geographic location to enable location-based features for campaign creation and discovery. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, app crashes, and system activity.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment Processor: We receive transaction confirmation data from Razorpay when you purchase Sticks (in-app currency).
- SMS (Android Only): With your permission, we may read incoming SMS messages solely for the purpose of auto-filling OTP verification codes. We do not store or transmit SMS content.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account Management: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide customer support.
- Service Delivery: To facilitate brand-influencer connections, campaign management, application processing, work submissions, and agreement management.
- In-App Transactions: To process Sticks purchases, manage your wallet balance, and facilitate payouts through verified bank accounts.
- Communication: To enable in-app messaging between brands and influencers, send notifications about campaign updates, application statuses, and important account information.
- AI-Powered Support: To provide intelligent customer support through our AI chat feature.
- Improvement & Analytics: To analyze usage trends, improve app performance, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.
- Safety & Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security risks, and technical issues.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between Users: When you apply to a campaign, your profile information (name, social media handles, follower counts, bio) is shared with the brand that posted the campaign, and vice versa. Messages exchanged in chats are visible to both parties.
- Payment Processors: We share necessary financial data with Razorpay to process payments securely. Razorpay's privacy policy governs their handling of your data.
- Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, such as cloud hosting providers and analytics services, subject to confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure server infrastructure, and access controls.
Your data is stored on secure servers. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access & Update: You can access and update your profile information at any time through the App's profile settings.
- Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Profile settings within the App. Account deletion is irreversible.
- Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location access through your device's operating system settings at any time.
- SMS Permissions (Android): You can revoke SMS read permissions through your device settings.
- Communication Preferences: You can manage notification preferences through your device settings.
- Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
Our App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to Razorpay (payment processing), social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter), and cloud storage providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
